Day 1 (rewind!)

Number one place I want to be at of course will be overall San Francisco :)

So sorry I wasn't able to update before I left for the airport on June 1st. We left the house around 4:15am to get to the airport since my plane left around 6am. We went there and checked in my bag (only 23lbs!) and checked the flight. Then we saw Donna and Aaron arrive and they went to go check in her bag and we all sat and ate some breakfast. Finally we separated from our men and gave our goodbyes and met up with our instructor Mrs. Barbara, and our fellow students Josh, and Megan. We boarded the plane and 45mins later we made it to ATL where Josh and Donna separated from the group and catches their later flight. Here are some pictures from the plane ride in the next blog.

2 days!

2 days left :) well today is almost over so technically it's about 1 1/2 day left! Just got done packing (finally!) and now i'm ready to dye my hair and watch some more grey's while it sits. Excited for tomorrow. It's Cory and my 6 yr anniversary! I'm sad I won't be able to be with him :( and wish he could fit in my suitcase and come with. I'll definitely make it up to him as soon as I get back though! Anyways here is day # 2 San Andreas Fault. I've always been fascinated with earthquakes, yea yea I know I won't being that until I actually be in one but until then I think it's awesome that I might have a chance to go see the fault.

3 days

Took out most of the clothes i'm going to be packing up later on tonight. I'm now waiting for Cory to get home so we can get to my parent's house so I clean my room a little bit more. Having one car fucking sucks -_- always waiting sucks. As i'm waiting i'm watching the fourth season of grey's. Can't wait to get to my parent's house and eat! Haven't eaten anything all day yet only because I don't eat when i'm not hungry and my been having no appetite lately. I'll get the urge to snack A LOT, but i'm not hungry until around this time. I know I know I need to eat breakfast at least but I didn't get up today till 11am. Feels wonderful to sleep in! Anyways here's number 3 on my list :) Union Square.

4 days

Today was a pretty lazy day except for going over to my friends' house and swimming with them and my niece :) did some good exercise. Especially after drinking from last night. So i'm here now being lazy and getting ready to pass out because I did kind of exhaust myself from the swimming since I did non stop swimming for about an hour. I'm definitely a fish or a mermaid, I usually can stay out in the water for about 5 hours to 6. I got a little darker, even though I wasn't light to begin with but in the summer i get real DARK. Tonight I managed to fill up my travel size bottles with my shampoo, conditioner, face wash, makeup remover, hairspray, body wash, etc. I have not started to pack yet...eeeek lol. But I will definitely start tomorrow during the day OR after I get from a barbecue my daddy and mommy are having at their house :) mmm I love their barbecue. So on to day number 4, where do I want to go and see and shop and eat at? No other than the infamous San Francisco China Town! Being from New York i'm curious to see how different it is from Ny Chinatown, hmm...

5 days (almost there!)

So i'm going to go ahead and do this post right now because i'm pretty sure i'll forget to do it later on today since it's going to be another busy day. Spending the first half of the day with my mommy :) Shopping, eating lunch, haircut, and more shopping! The second half of the day i'm going to spend with my Cory and my friends celebrating our close friend Chez's 24th birthday (pictures will be taken for sure!). I'm pretty sure that night won't end till the very next day so here it goes. Day number 5, I want to TRY and go see Alcatraz Island :D The reason why I said "TRY" is because i've heard you have to make an appointment for a tour to see the Island and the prison and have yet to do that. Also i'm scared to see how much it will cost. I mean I have money to take there but let me remind you, we are still college students hahah. So if I don't get to see this lovely island up close, I'll make sure to take a picture from afar.

Ooops!
It's going to be two posts this time since I didn't have time to post for day # 6. Pretty busy day, went to DMV to renew my driver's license that way I don't have to be extra paranoid when I get to the airport. This way I have fresh new driver's license :) So here #6 spot I want to see in San Francisco, a cable car. Yes I want to see and ride one of these bad boys :)

So I didn't exactly spend all day out like I thought I would but that's okay because i'm exhausted! Went to the beach around 12pm with Cory and two of my closest friends :) It wasn't exactly very sunny today but it was good enough so Cory and my friend wouldn't burn after being in the sun for 2 mins hahah. The water was beautiful, I should of taken pictures! I took my camera and forgot to take pictures, dumb. Anyways, Cory had to go to a meeting @ 2 so our friends and I went to go and do some errands for our friend's birthday bash on Saturday. We're doing a kind of end of days themed birthday bash because of the recent event from the "rapture" on May 21st, which everyone knows...didn't happen. Zombies, Aliens, Sinners, Saints :) I'll do some makeup experiments and post some pictures up a little bit later when I have time, until then...

7 days

I'm awake @ 2am posting this because for one i'm not tired because on the day my boyfriend and I get a day off together we sleep in till 2pm...ooops! I don't regret though, I think it was much needed and well deserved sleep haha. The second reason is because later on today my boyfriend and my close friends are going to the beach :) super excited, i <3 the beach and miss it a lot. After the beach some birthday party planning is going to be done with some supply shopping and liquor shopping for the party. It's my friend's 24th birthday and he's having a themed party which means dressing up! I love dressing up haha. Anyways on to the site I want to see when i'm in San Francisco. It's really a site I want to see inside and out mainly because...well...you'll know why ;)

  Trish's doughnuts on the pier. If you are into really good chinese...there is a chinese food around bush street or vanness that's really good. Of all the chinese food i've had in the states...that little family owned restaurant is the best. They are really nice too :) Sometimes they don't even want you to pay for the food !

  Where to go AND where to eat? Or where to go to eat? Hmmm. I'll answer both ;-)
  
  Fisherman's wharf is a great place to wander about. If your class is large, Tarantino's is a fine restaurant for seafood. For light meals try Boudin Cafe and Bakery.
  
  On Union street, there's some great shopping/people watching - and try the burgers/french food at Gamine
  
  At North beach - famous for strip clubs, garlicky restaurants and the general vibe, try Vicoletto for italian or Urban Curry for Indian/Pakistani food
  
  At the Mission district, go for the quirky, fantastic thrift stores and for great mexican at La Taquera.
  
  There are some great eats in this city and the above is only a sampling!! Have fun!

So the past couple of days are minor planning for the trip and staying at home because the boyfriend has been working mid day shifts. Yesterday I went over to my parent's house to clean up some in my old orom because my grandma and other grandma on the same side of the family (mother of my now uncle who married my aunt years ago) are coming for the summer. So naturally one of them will be staying in my old bedroom. Okay for this post we're going to have put several pictures up since there are too many different things to see at this one place, The Golden Gate Park. Looked up pictures for this place and there are so many amazing spots to take pictures of when I get there :) Oh and excuse the lay out for the pictures, I really don't like it much but I've tried tinkering with it for a little while and I guess I need more practice in this. If you have any advice please tell me lol.

9 more days till San Francisco :) I spent all last night planning and writing down what i'll be needing for the trip there, what to pack, what outfit will I wear when I enter this beautiful city, what items i'll have on me on the plane, etc. Got it all planned out and did laundry today. That way I can set aside all the clean clothes i'll be taking with me and pack it probably this weekend.

So here's another sight I would love to go see when i'm in San Francisco, Ca. Pier 39 @ the Fisherman's Wharf. Lots of sea lions there :D I can not wait!

Half way done!

So I am half way being done with school :)

Yesterday we all had a get together for end of the semester celebration and also a going away party for all of our favorite teacher Mrs. Shannon :(
It was a great day to begin with starting with me waking up @ 10:30am instead of 5:00am. I went ahead and got ready for school and that's where good went to...not so awesome. The last test we took was amazingly pissing the shit out of me. Excuseeeeeeee my language but it was. Not only did I supposedly failed this test, I think the whole class did too. We all came out one by one after finishing our tests with a look, it was all the same looks also. A look and a shake of our head and then single words to describe that test such as "shit balls, bullshit, holy fuck, bitch, fuck, mother fuck, or fuck it" came out of our mouths. Our class is a dysfunctional family with potty mouths, just my kind of class :) tis why I get along with class a lot better than I did with my LPN class 2 years ago. With the career we all chose though, our potty mouths definitely is a must or at least a very good sense of humor in the OR. So the end of our semester ended with a BANG. Most of us met up at a beach side restaurant. The view was amazing and forgotten how beautiful the beach was. We all live in this city who is known to have one of the most beautifulest beaches but we have no lives and no time to go out and see this beautifulest beach that has been talked about. Drinks and lunch were bought along with of course more drinks to forget that bullshit of a test we took earlier that day. Drinks, hugs, laughs, dances, and the beach :) Had a wonderful time with all the classmates who went and super excited for what's to come in a week and a half when 14 of us are meeting up in San Francisco, CA! We are a pretty wild bunch of full time, sleep deprived, potty mouth students who deserve this trip. So our first stop is to Pinocchio ;)

New life.
It's been a LONG time since I last blogged on this page. So many things have happened since then. :) School, school, and school. I love what I'm doing, I absolutely can't wait to be a certified Surgical Technologist. For the past 10 months (4 months are pre-requisites for my major now) I've been going to school and studying and going to clinical for a Surgical Technologist. What's a Surgical Technologist? A lot of my family and friends have asked that and I'm pretty sure a lot of other people don't know what exactly a Surgical Technologist does. I'll go ahead and save that for another blog post and continue with what I've been doing since my last blog post in August. I am still with my boyfriend for 6 years (in June 1 2011). He asked my parents for permission for me to move in with him back in October and we moved in by November 2010. We spent a lot of time searching and searching for the right apartment and had one in mind but instead they messed around a lot with when apartments would be available. So one day my mother and I went to the commissary and I found an ad and # for a place that was for rent. Within a couple of days we called the guy and setup a date to look at the place and we absolutely LOVE it :). We now live in a 2 bdrm 1.5 bath townhouse that's right down the street from our best friends and niece. It's now been 6 months and we still love our place. I will post pictures of what's been going on these past months, until then I'm going to go and greet my boyfriend and eat dinner and watch a movie :)
